We posted yesterday on defections of Heller’s LA managing partner and an SF partner of 17 years. (This coming on the heals of the 700 lawyer firm laying-off 65 support staff.)Now, the venerable Legal Pad has sniffed out yet another Heller partner defection: Corporate partner Kyle Guse who is leaving for McDermott Will & Emery.
And yes, Mr. Guse said he’ll be taking his clients with him to the new firm.
Although Guse told Legal Pad that his departure had nothing to do with these prior recent events at the firm, it is coincidental, no?
