GIBSON EX REJECTED BY DOMESTIC VIOLENCE GROUP—SAYS RUSSIAN’S STORY FALSE

Mel Gibson's ex-Russian mistress seeks to sell her music "career"

UPDATE 11/18/2010: The California Partnership to End Domestic Violence is the second domestic violence support group this week to issue an official statement that Oksana is not connected with them in any way. (Read it here.)

Peace Over Violence, a prominent California anti-domestic violence group was quick to disavow any affiliation or support for Mel Gibson’s Russian accuser after the Russian tried to link her attempts to extort money from the action star (who fathered her child while Gibson was still married to his wife of over 30 years Robyn Gibson), after the Russian—some believe—snared Gibson in a pregnancy scam and then threatened to go public with altered audio tapes of the actor ranting and raving after the Russian provoked Gibson while secretly taping him if Gibson did not agree to pay her millions of dollars.

Daniel Horowitz, one of the Russian’s attorneys, told TMZ that the alleged con-artist would be working with Peace Over Violence, a well known domestic violence support group, in an effort to help women who were victims of domestic violence.

What was suspect about this statement early on, is that thus far, domestic violence and battered women’s supports groups have reportedly shunned the alleged Russian grifter con-artist.

Said the group:

“Peace Over Violence is not now, and has never been associated in any way with Oksana Grigoreiva. TMZ received false information from Oksana's legal team and printed it without verification.”

Another one of the Russian’s lies exposed!

OK, I can see where the DRW NEEDS to be associated with a domestic violence agency. But why is Horowitz feeding her insanity? What can possibly be in this for him? Thankfully, the domestic violence organizations realize it won’t look good when, after serving a lengthy prison sentence for extortion and losing custody of Mad Mel’s kid, there mascot—I mean spokeswoman—gets deported back to her dirt floor hovel in Russia. What’s in it for Horowitz?

"What can possibly be in this for him?"

Publicity.

You cannot be a "high profile" criminal attorney if you are not "high profile".

It has been years since he has been in the national media spotlight and this is the next best thing--especially if she is indicted for extortion.

I didn’t see the interview she did with Larry King—and after reading the transcript it’s clear the only reason she participate in this interview is in hopes of persuading ANY domestic violence organization to recruit her to be there spokeswoman. She is so psychotic as to believe that unless she speaks out against domestic violence, countless others will become victims of domestic violence. Seriously, I can’t make up this shit! Oh, and she continues on about how victims of domestic violence are cut off from everything: family, friends, MONEY…. And she also cites the CA penal code (635 M [A and B]) that allowed her to record the calls. For the love of god, her posse really needs to have others accept her help as a spokeswoman for domestic violence. Oh, and according to her “domestic violence is an illness. Sure it is. And that groan you hear is from law enforcement—now they’ll have to worry about every batterer using a psych defense.

TMZ posted a clip that includes part of her recorded conversation with Mel. Am I the only person who heard the baby cry while Mel railed at the DRW? How come the baby never cries while the DRW speaks?

The best part is when she tells Larry that once she was pregnant, Mel had complete control over her. I’ll bet when she was hatching her plot against Mel while in that dirt-floor hovel back in Moscow—well, she got a helluv a lot more than she bargained for. What’s that they say about karma?

She insists she didn’t release the tapes; instead, she believes the COURT released those tapes—as in the tapes were stolen from the courthouse file. Oh, she insists the 1st Amendment gives her the right to speak out; afterall, soldier’s died. And Mel’s fabricated the extortion charge against the whore—her attorney and she insist Mel concocted the extortion charge just so Mel will get PUBLICITY. So Larry asks her, “Who’s getting the bad press now?” Again, I can’t make up this shit!

We know Horowitz is in it for the publicity; however, I wonder if Garbus is really working for her or if he’s in it for the publicity. Don’t they know this tape will be used against them? Tonight, when she puts the baby to bed—well, I hope she gave that baby a kiss good night, cuz once the judge sees the tape, she can kiss that baby goodbye.

And she wants us to remember she’s not doing this for herself, she’s doing it for all the other domestic violence victims. Sure.
